Photographs, 360° views and films

Using our pictures

Every picture on Explore Peterborough is copyright, and all rights are reserved. You're welcome to look, and to share a link to the page it's on. To use the picture itself anywhere else, please ask us first.

Who owns them

Unless a picture says otherwise, it was taken by and belongs to Terry Harris Photography. Some are credited to someone else, beside the picture; those belong to the person or organisation named, and we use them with their permission.

What you can do without asking

  • Look at them here, on the map and in the 360° views.
  • Share a link to the page a picture is on, including with the share buttons.

What needs our permission

Anything else: copying or downloading a picture to use it, putting it on another website or social media account, in print, in a presentation, or in anything you sell or promote. That includes cropping or changing it, and using a still taken from a 360° view or a film.

How to ask

Send us a note with the enquiry form, choosing "Using one of your pictures", or use the request form beside the picture on the map. Please tell us:

  • which picture: the link to its page is best;
  • where you'd like to use it, and for how long;
  • who you are, and your organisation if you have one.

We'll reply to say whether you can use it and on what terms. Where we give permission, the picture should carry the credit we ask for.
