Peterborough, in three dimensions
A map of the city in 3D, with 360° Explore, photography and film, what is on and how to get about.
The map shows Peterborough in three dimensions. Tilt and turn it, click a building to find out what it is, and step inside in 360° wherever there is an Explore. It is part of Explore Peterborough, and it changes as new photography, tours and events are added.
What is on it
- Buildings in 3D, each one named, with what is written about it.
- 360° Explore: panoramas you can step into, inside and out, joined into walks you can follow from one to the next.
- Explore More: points inside the panoramas that tell you about what you are looking at.
- Photography and film, including views of the same place through the years, side by side.
- What is on: events at the venues where they happen.
- Getting around: bus routes, car parks, EV chargers and public toilets, as layers you can switch on and off.
Using the map
Drag to move, scroll or pinch to zoom, and hold the right mouse button (or two fingers) to tilt and turn. Choose Layers to show or hide what is on the map, and Search & list to find a place by name. On a phone, everything is in the same buttons along the top.
