Explore Peterborough
Explore Peterborough is the guide to Peterborough for visitors and for business: what is on, places to go, where to stay and eat, venues for meetings and events, the city in 360° and on the map, and its six thousand years of history, all in one place.
It is written by people who live and work here, and it changes every day as events are added, venues update their details and new photography and 360° tours go on the map.
More than a website
What you see here is the front of a whole application. Explore Peterborough runs on Explore3sixty, a platform for destinations, and behind these pages sits the toolkit the team works in every day.
- Listings: events, venues, places to eat and stay, and a directory of local businesses, kept up to date in one place.
- Pictures and 360°: a library of photography and 360° tours, placed on the map and joined into walks you can step through.
- Meetings and enquiries: fact sheets for every meeting venue, and every enquiry tracked until it is answered.
- Newsletters, campaigns and social posts, written from the same listings, so what goes out always matches what is here.
- Open data: the events, venues and businesses as feeds that anyone can build on.
- A website designer that lays out these pages, their look and their sections, such as the history of the city.
When something changes in the toolkit, it changes here, on the map, in the newsletter and in the feeds, all at once.
